Chiropractor
Jessica Schumann D.C.
Doctor Jessica Schumann grew up and worked on a farm in rural Iowa. She earned an Associate's and Bachelor's degree from Clinton Community College and the University of Northern Iowa, respectively, before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
Jessica played for the Palmer Women's Rugby Club and was a member, treasurer, and head intern for the Troxell Intern Program, which focuses on the Gonstead system of Chiropractic analysis. Before moving to One Health Chiropractic, Dr. Jessica was an associate Chiropractor for Lawlor Family Chiropractic in Parkview, IA with Dr. Josh Lawlor, who is the mentor for the Troxell Intern Program.
Dr. Jess Schumann actively participates and teaches at seminars with the Gonstead Methodology Institute. In her free time, she enjoys jogging, bike riding, and spending time working with her family on the farm.
Chiropractor
CHRIS SCHUMANN D.C.
Dr. Chris Schumann was born in Colorado and raised in Omaha, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned his Chiropractic degree from Palmer, where he was the Valedictorian of his class.
At Palmer, Chris played for the club golf and baseball teams. As a student, he was an intern for Palmer's Extremity Club under the direction of Dr. Mitch Mally and worked as an Associate Chiropractor before moving to One Health Chiropractic.
Dr. Chris Schumann focuses his care using the Gonstead system of Chiropractic analysis. He has completed over 100 seminar hours with the Gonstead Methodology Institute and Dr. Herb Wood's Bootcamp series. In his free time, Dr. Schumann enjoys attending sporting events, bike riding, playing golf, and disc golf.
Chiropractor
Nishtha (Nish) Patel D.C.
Dr. Nishtha (Nish) Patel was welcomed to the office in January, 2024 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October, 2023. She had also spent some time interning with both Drs. Chris and Jess since July of 2023. Nishtha completed her undergraduate degree at Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree.
During her time at Palmer, Nishtha tutored students of Anatomy class to help them better understand information taught in both the lecture and lab portions. Nishtha was also involved in the Troxell Intern program where she held the title of Vice President in addition to learning the in's and out's of the Gonstead method of Chiropractic analysis. For a short time, she spent her off time playing on the Palmer basketball team.
She was born and raised in the Chicago-land area and is eager to serve her community at OHC. As a chiropractor, Nishtha is most excited to help patients gain and maintain their health so they can continue to do what they love most. In her free time Nishtha likes to spend time with her family, find the best pizza restaurant, cook, watch soccer and stand-up comedy.
